Can I donate if I am a U.S. resident with a green card?

• Political Action Committees (PACs): As a green card holder, you may support PACs like Movement Voter PAC because you are specifically excluded from the "foreign national" prohibition under 52 U.S.C. § 30121 and 11 CFR § 110.20(a)(3)(ii).
• 501(c)(4) Social Welfare Organizations: You may support 501(c)(4) groups like Movement Voter Project because the FEC's "foreign national" restrictions do not apply to permanent residents (see official FEC guidance on foreign nationals).
• 501(c)(3) Organizations (Charities): You may donate to 501(c)(3) groups like Movement Voter Fund as a "resident alien" for tax purposes, as defined in IRS Publication 519 (U.S. Tax Guide for Aliens).
