Can I make a restricted gift to a specific region, state, or focus area?
Yes! We’re happy to direct restricted gifts to specific regions, states, or focus areas, with a recommended minimum of $25,000 (or less for a first-time gift or one tied to larger giving). Restrictions must be in writing. Contact advisor@movement.vote to set one up.
Please note: We always prefer unrestricted gifts, which allow us to respond to ever-shifting conditions, seize critical opportunities, and close key budget gaps as nimbly and strategically as possible.
Think of yourself as an “investor” in long-term social progress. In this context, MVP is like your “mutual fund”: Instead of “playing the stocks” yourself, you are gaining the advantage of having MVP invest in an optimally “diversified portfolio” that can ultimately yield the highest returns.
